Over at Using Wiki in Education, Stewart Mader has a post that points to WikiHow and an article, How to Take Perfect Lecture Notes. The WikiHow post discusses using a wiki as a note taking tool for students. I like the idea of having students create a record of their work/notes and also the collaborative nature of a wiki allows for others to add and expand on the resource. Of course we just need to let students know it is ok to learn from on another. I mean, that is what all of us who dabble in this stuff do...
