This plaque is laid in the top step of a set of stairs that leads from the back of Benson High School to their practice sport fields below the school. I enjoy finding these types of historical objects and thinking back to the time and people associated with their placement. I initially posted this to my Flickr page which was then posted to Twitter which lead to a little conversation between @irasocol, @nickdennis and @acelfresno regarding the fact that in 1972 Benson High School had a student parliament and a discussion about student government systems.
