1st Grade Challenge: Design a house for the 3 Little Pigs...

Students in Mrs. Logue and Ms. Leake's classrooms were given a challenge to design a house for the 3 Little Pigs that could withstand the wind of the Big Bad Wolf... (see boxfan photo below... ) Lots of interesting designs... I especially like the home made of sticks with the 3 pigs made out of balloons...

Today we're rolling out a change in Google Reader that lets you create a custom feed to track changes on pages that don't have their own feed.
This is great. I can now follow my school district pages which for some reason do not have an RSS fee....

Rowfeeder.com - A tool from Untitled Startup that allows you to track Twitter mentions of keywords and save the information to a Google Spreadsheet. Nice for tracking mentions of an event or mentions during the course of a conference.
