Portland Nursery Profile of Lewis Elementary
At Lewis we have been working to establish and sustain a garden education component to our curriculum. Recently the work of our staff and families was highlighted on the Portland Nursery web site. Thanks to Peggy Alcott and the Portland Nursery staff for their continued support to our program... photo credit: lewiselementary

More snow overnight...
Woke up this morning to another 5 inches of snow. This is one big weather system. I'm been spending quite a bit of time on my computer and it has been fun to follow storm updates with Twitter. I have been using TweetDeck as my Twitter client. It has a pained view and I can easily follow my Twitter activity and specific search phrases. Twitter users in Portland have been using the hashtag pdxtst to note storm and weather related posts. PDX is the airport designation for Portland, and TST stands for Twitter Storm Team. It's kind of a jab at the local media who blare their constant weather coverage as Storm Team Coverage... Anyway, below I have two photos looking out on my patio, taken 24 hours apart. It's gonna be a long week...
